Overheard in a hotel lobby.

A mom with two young daughters. My ears had pricked up when I'd heard mom speak Afrikaans, but then one of the little girls, reciting with great amusement, in English, but the broadest Afrikaans accent:

I was saying, "You can either stay in bed, or you can slay instead."
