Ed the Red II

Of course, just because Ed got the job thanks to the trade unions doesn't necessarily mean he's in their collective (heh heh) pocket. Let us play the intrigue a little further and say that if you're willing to take on (dare we say, for dramatic effect, betray) your own brother, some ugly overpaid union bosses are hardly likely to merit any strong feelings of loyalty.

Anyway, the news again was brother David's 'you voted for it, why are you clapping?' reaction to the 'Iraq wus wrong' thing: brotherly betrayal is just a bit of soap opera - but seeing hypocritical Harriet Harman being made a fool of is sheer pleasure.
